We can provide a tailor made service for a variety of soft furnishings and accessories to dress a room and add that finishing touch. All our soft furnishings are hand made using either clients own material or something from our extensive range of wonderful fabrics. Soft furnishing items include:
Cushions
The simplest way to update or completely transform your decorating scheme is to add to or change the cushions. Cushions allow you to introduce colour, pattern, texture, comfort and style. Even a simply styled cushion can be decorated with a wide variety of trims and accessories such as braids, borders, piping cords, tassels, buttons, ribbon or fringing. The choice is yours and when used imaginatively, adds contrast and definition to a scheme. Please contact us for further information
Throws & Bed Banners
We have an excellent range of fabrics suitable for bed throws. They can be single sided or reversible so when turned down another stunning contrast fabric is revealed beneath. They can be made full size (throwover) to cover the bed completely or we can produce decorative bed ends to cover the end of the bed. If you would prefer a simpler approach then opt for a bed banner (runner) that lies as a band of fabric across the bottom of the bed.
Valances
Our bed valances are all hand made for superior quality and bespoke to you requirements. They are excellent for divan style beds or to disguise an unsightly bed base. The valances can be designed with inverted/kick pleats, box pleats, gathered pleats or plain sided. Contrast corders and piping can be used and the corners can be cut to allow for footboards and frames.
Quilted Bedspreads & Throws
We also supply custom made quilted throws and bedspreads to suit your unique requirements. Either option can be quilted with conventional squares or diamonds or for that more unique appearance they can be outline quilted. Outline quilting is hand guided stitching around the design of the fabric.
A throwover is a convenient solution. It is not as structured as a bedspread instead it is loose with no fitted sides or additions to the single piece construction. The entire piece can be quilted. A bedspread is 'fitted' to the bed shape. It will have a quilted top with skirt sides applied to it. These can be plain, box pleated, frilled etc with contrast borders and piping applied as a decorative option
